YASLA Silos

IBT GmbH, owner of the YASLA trademark and design developer, occupies a leading position among silo manufacturers due to the number of implemented projects in such critical industrial sectors as rail, water and road transport.

Our Silos: More than Just a Bunker

YASLA silos are not just a bunker for storing feed. They are an important element of the infrastructure that ensures the continuous transportation of feed from the producer to the animal's feeder. The main task of our silos is the safe and temporary storage of feed.

Specialization and Quality

We specialize in the design and manufacture of durable and safe fiberglass silos for storing feed, grain, pellets and other bulk products. YASLA silos are equipped with the thickest shell on the market, which guarantees the preservation of feed quality and prevents it from sticking to the walls.

A unique feature is the increased thickness of the flanges that connect the segments with high-strength, hot-dip galvanized fasteners, providing additional stability and durability.

The steel supports of the silos are also covered with a thick layer of hot-dip galvanized steel, which, together with other advantages of YASLA, provides you with many years of reliable and efficient operation of the equipment.

The robust design of our silos is able to withstand intense operational loads from wind, sun, snow and the influence of other equipment.

Advantages of YASLA silos:

  • Protection against overheating: The multilayer laminate structure reduces overheating of the feed from the sun, thus preserving its nutritional properties.
  • Reduced condensation: DThe special internal structure of the silo significantly reduces the formation of condensation, which reduces maintenance costs.
  • Resistance to external factors: Our silos provide reliable protection against negative environmental influences.
  • Withstand load changes: YASLA silos are designed for uninterrupted operation under changing loads.

Uncompromising approach to quality

To create a new generation of silos, we conducted an in-depth analysis of existing solutions for storing and transporting feed. This process helped to develop measures that minimize the risk of errors during the design and manufacture of silos.

Many years of experience in the design and manufacture of composite equipment has taught us to adhere to an uncompromising approach to strength, temperature resistance and elasticity. To perform calculations for the strength of the laminate and the bunker supports, we involved the best world experts. The result is an ideal silo that meets all requirements.

Impact of loads on the silo

  • Wind force: SSilos located in open areas must withstand both weak and strong winds. We have taken into account all possible wind loads to prevent damage to the structure.
  • Snow load: In winter, the thickness of snow can be significant, which creates an additional load on the silo. We have foreseen this factor in our design.
  • Sun power: Ultraviolet radiation and infrared heat can negatively affect the silo laminate and reduce its strength. We have developed a design that protects against the harmful effects of solar radiation.
  • Main load: The main load on the silo is created by the weight of the feed or other filling. Safety and reliability remain key criteria in this case.
  • Combined loads: We have made calculations for the worst-case scenario - the simultaneous action of all possible loads. This allowed us to ensure maximum silo reliability.

Strength tests

To confirm the results of mathematical modeling, field tests of the silo were carried out. We measured the deformations of structural elements and checked their compliance with theoretical calculations. This allowed us to make sure that our design data is correct.

Our achievements confirming specialization and experience:

  • Railway transport: Our cabins, installed on thousands of locomotives, are an important element of railway transport. They provide comfort, crew safety and stability in case of emergency collisions. Experience in combining fiberglass laminates with load-bearing metal structures has helped us create solutions that are also used in YASLA silos, guarantee the preservation of the atmosphere inside the silo and safe operation.
  • Water transport: Hundreds of our watercraft, capable of withstanding water, rain, wind and sun, have given us invaluable experience in developing fiberglass structures that can withstand these challenges throughout their lifetime.
  • Road transport: Tens of thousands of fiberglass parts for cars manufactured by our company not only improve the appearance of the car, but also protect it from the effects of high-pressure water, dynamic air flow and hail. These parts withstand vibration and high dynamic loads.

Our silos are the result of many years of experience and a responsible approach to creating reliable fiberglass structures for such important areas as rail, sea and road transport. They are manufactured using classical technology, which ensures the highest reliability and thermal insulation.

Our values: On time. Reliably. Safely.
